The JP Morgan chase group has announced a massive six fold jump in net income in the September 2009 quarter. The profit growth over the previous quarter has been enabled by jump in investment income and also merchant banking services.
The company has also projected a higher growth in profits in the December 2009 quarter. These results were the key propeller of the Dow Jones index yesterday, and helped it to hit the 10000 mark with ease.
