Swine Flu to be declared pandemic by WHO

Swine Flu has been spreading thick and fast in the last few weeks, which is worrying the World Health Organization. In the last one week alone, Australia, with the best of medical facilities, has reported a four fold increase in the Swine Flu cases, reaching 1200 infections.
There are reports of over 26000 people infected across the globe, with over 140 deaths so far. The Swine Flu has so far spread into over 40 countries including India and China.
Australia becomes the largest infected country outside North America, as per WHO report. The WHO is most likely to declare Swine Flu as a pandemic anytime. That will make Swine Flu to be the first pandemic in the last four decades.
WHO fears that there could be global economic impact due to the Swine Flu because it will badly affect the tourism and aviation industries.
