Hard Drive Recovery Tools

My last presentation to the management could have ended in an absolute nightmare. It didn’t and I am thankful to the data recovery people for that. First let me tell you what really happened.

This was during the month of august. By that time, the planning cycle for the corporate is in full swing. We need to finalise everything so that we can wrap up the first cut presentation to the management on the next year plans. The next year obviously starts by the January so that the plans have to be frozen and given to finance guys by the 10th of December. Which means that all plans have to be finalised and approved by the board by the 1st week of November to give some time for any more iterations and discussions.

I had worked very hard and put together a fantastic plan for my division. My division head had gone through the presentation with a fine tooth comb and had approved after many iterations and discussions. I had made the ppt come alive by using many pictures, the video clips of may interviews with our customers and so on.

Right on the dot on the previous day of the presentation, my hard disc failed. It simply would not start. And, I had no back up!!!

Just imagine my situation! I was in tears. That is when my system guys told me about hard drive recovery and the possibility of a quick hard drive repair . I was praying all the Gods by then. They called the dtidata.com and had checked with them on what needs to be done, and got the hard drive to boot properly. By the time I took a backup and transferred the ppt and all the back up data to a DVD, it was well past 3 in the morning. My ppt was to be at 9.00 am. I was simply elated to have my ppt back! My ppt also went off very well.

The point is, none of this would have happened if we had not recovered the data in time.

The dtidata.com also gives you a Freeware Data Recovery Software which can also be used for data recovery. They give you price quotes upfront for all the hard drive data recovery so that you know how much you have to pay for even before you recover the data. And, you don’t pay for it if the data is not recovered, as long as it has not been opened somewhere else.

They also have a number of software and suites developed in house. They boast of a class 100 clean room while many companies may even have a clean room to start with. All this only goes onto say what a class act this set up is.
