Taleban controlling Pakistan ?
Posted by admin | Under Security Monday Apr 6, 2009The dreaded Taleban was expected to be decimated, once the US army took control of Afghanistan seven years back. But the Pakistani military establishment had a totally different plan. It was funding and training top Taleban militants silently inside it’s territory bordering Afghanistan.
Being an ally of US in anti-terror operations, the US believed in Pakistan and never suspected it.
With massive support from the Pakistani armed forces, the Taleban grew in size and stature over the last few years, and now they have officially taken over 30% of the Pakistani territory.
Experts in Pakistan say that over 50% of Pakistan is now under Taleban control, and within the next few months, there could be a military coup in Pakistan.
